The Egyptian human rights activist Mohammed Abdel Salam has his passport back. Just a few days after the country’s National Security Service (NSS) confiscated it at Cairo International airport, the domestic intelligence service contacted the director of the Association for the Freedom of Thought and Expression (AFTE) by phone last Friday.
