Environmental associations criticize German coal-fired power limits

Germany’s coal-fired power plants must prepare for stricter emission limits. But several environmental associations criticize that the new version of the Balance to the Ordinance on Large Combustion Plants is nowhere near ambitious enough. They say the German government is falling well short of its potential. This endangers both the environment and the health of the population.
