EPP leader Weber in favor of European cyber defense brigade

The leader of the Christian Democrats in the European Parliament, Manfred Weber, urges the creation of European forces for cyber defense. „We are constantly experiencing cyberattacks on European digital infrastructure – private and public – in Europe. This is daily warfare on the net,“ the CSU deputy leader told the Funke Mediengruppe newspapers. He said with this dimension a national approach alone is not enough.
