The EPP wants the Commission’s proposal for the omnibus on sustainability reporting obligations to be dealt with under the urgent procedure in accordance with Rule 170 of the Rules of Procedure. EPP Group Vice-President Tomas Tobé pushed for this. The plenary is to vote on this on Tuesday of the next session week in Strasbourg, April 1. In the event of urgency under Rule 170, Parliament may exceptionally decide to take a decision „without a report or on the basis of an oral report by the committee responsible.“
