The EU Commission has postponed the entry into force of the definitive anti-dumping duties against certain aluminum products from China. The Brussels-based authority did impose duties on imports of flat-rolled aluminum products – but immediately suspended them for a period of nine months. According to the Directorate General for Trade, they will now apply from 11 July 2022. The level of the definitive anti-dumping duties would range from 14.3 to 24.6 percent, it said. However, the directorate general stressed that market developments, including imports from China, will continue to be monitored regularly. The levy could take effect at any time, it added.
