EU Forest Strategy: Agriculture Ministers feel patronized

At the meeting of the EU Agriculture Council in Luxembourg on Tuesday, the agriculture ministers expressed their displeasure at the new EU Forest Strategy. At the public exchange of views, they all stressed the need for sustainable forestry that takes account of both socio-economic and environmental aspects. But on the question of regulatory sovereignty, the Commission had to accept clear criticism.
