Margrethe Vestager has resumed her position as Commissioner for Competition. She says that the Digital Europe program is of central importance for digital projects in the EU.

The Commission has agreed on the Digital Europe work program for 2024. It is also planned to promote the development of an ecosystem for artificial intelligence.

On Thursday, the Commission approved the amendments to the Digital Europe work programs for 2024 and is providing funding of €762.7 million for digital solutions. This will benefit citizens, public administrations, and businesses.
