EU Parliament calls for more rights for platform employees

The European Parliament has voted in favor of improving working conditions and social security for employees of online platforms. MEPs voted by a large majority in favor of an own initiative report by French MEP Sylvie Brunet (Renew). The European Commission announced that it will present a legislative proposal by the end of the year.
