The European Union wants to cooperate more closely with countries in the Indo-Pacific region in the digital sector. As part of the Indo-Pacific strategy, which the Commission will present next week, the EU is seeking digital partnership agreements with Japan, South Korea and Singapore. According to the draft, the agreements aim to create standards for technologies such as artificial intelligence and strengthen the exchange of trusted data.
