The EU supply chain law and the regulation for sustainability reporting will be introduced later than originally planned. The decision in the EU Parliament was clear – now MEPs want to change the content of the directives.

As expected, the European Parliament has postponed the application of the regulations on sustainability reporting (CSRD) and the European Supply Chain Directive (CSDDD). The vote was brought about in an urgent procedure. MEPs had spoken out in favor of this two days earlier. The decision on Thursday was made with a clear majority of 531 votes in favor to 69 against. 17 abstained.
