The President of the Eurogroup, Paschal Donohoe, has welcomed the debt-financed spending plans of the CDU/CSU and SPD. The German decision would have „not only a very large direct impact on its own economy, but also a very large indirect impact on the rest of the eurozone,“ said the Irish Finance Minister at an event organized by the Jacques Delors Centre in Berlin.
