The German government plans to issue a similar number of eco-bonds next year as it did in 2021, aiming for an issuance volume roughly on the same scale as this year, although the EU is also becoming active in the market, said German Finance Agency Managing Director Tammo Diemer on Tuesday. Exact forecasts are expected to be available in December.
