The dispute over fishing rights between France and Great Britain has flared up again. The British Channel island of Jersey and the government in London denied dozens of French fishing boats licenses to fish in their waters. French Maritime Minister Annick Girardin on Wednesday criticized Britain for not abiding by Brexit trade deals and doing politics with fishing rights. The government in Paris threatened retaliatory measures.
