France for natural gas in taxonomy

In the debate on the EU taxonomy for sustainable finance, France has so far publicly advocated mainly for the inclusion of nuclear power. Now Paris is also taking a position on whether natural gas should be considered sustainable: France, along with the Czech Republic, is pushing for the delegated act on the taxonomy to include nuclear power as well as gas, French Ambassador to the Czech Republic Alexis Dutertre wrote on Twitter. France takes over the Council presidency in January next year; the Czech Republic follows in July 2022.
