The German government has launched a €1 billion Future Fund for the period up to 2025 to support the transformation in the automotive industry and safeguard jobs. The aim is for the German automotive industry to build the climate-friendly cars of the future, create new jobs and maintain value creation, said Finance Minister Olaf Scholz (SPD).
