Future of Austria’s government unclear

Tensions are growing in Austria’s conservative-Green government coalition following the corruption allegations against Chancellor Sebastian Kurz. While the People’s Party (ÖVP) wants to continue the coalition alliance according to Kurz, the Greens’ stance is not entirely clear at the moment. The junior partner doubted the chancellor’s ability to act and intends to discuss the further course of action with the heads of the parliamentary groups of the other parliamentary parties on Friday.
