Gas prices: EU Commission investigates abuse

The EU Commission is investigating complaints from member states that Russia is exploiting its position as a major gas supplier and driving up the price of gas in Europe. „We are looking into this allegation with Vice-President Vestager, who is responsible for competition rules because it is obviously a very serious matter,“ EU Energy Commissioner Kadri Simson told Reuters.
