Government crisis in Romania continues

The designated new Romanian Prime Minister Dacian Cioloș has failed in a vote of confidence in Parliament. As expected, his centrist minority government did not win a majority in the vote in Bucharest on Wednesday. The political crisis thus continues in the EU state, which is currently particularly hard hit by the coronavirus pandemic.
