Macron plans investment in small nuclear reactors

France wants to boost the country’s economy with a large-scale innovation plan. President Emmanuel Macron made €30 billion available on Tuesday for the program, dubbed „France 2030.“ The money would be used to build new small nuclear reactors, cut carbon emissions from industry and boost diverse sectors of the economy, Macron told entrepreneurs six months before the next presidential election. Both small start-ups and large industrial groups should be considered.
