Nuclear power plant project: Czech Republic excludes China

A dispute is brewing between China and the EU state of the Czech Republic over the potential participation of the People’s Republic in a tender for the expansion of a Czech nuclear power plant: Czech President Miloš Zeman signed a law earlier this week banning Chinese companies from participating in the construction of a new unit at the Dukovany nuclear power plant in the southeast of the country, Czech radio reported. Beijing does not agree with this.
