The EU Commission is expected to present its proposal for the 17th sanctions package to the ambassadors of the member states this Wednesday. The new punitive measures are limited to additional listings and companies associated with Russia’s aggressive war against Ukraine. Further oil tankers from Russia’s shadow fleet will also be subject to sanctions.
