Austria’s Chancellor Kurz (ÖVP) is under increasing pressure. The Economic and Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (WKStA) is now also investigating a second case against the conservative head of government. This time it is a case of suspected embezzlement, bribery and corruption, as the authority announced on Wednesday. Kurz rejected the accusations. The 35-year-old is already under investigation for alleged false testimony in a parliamentary committee of inquiry.
