South Korea: €150 million fine against Google

South Korea’s competition watchdog has fined Google the equivalent of €150 million for preventing customized versions of its Android mobile operating system. The Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) said Tuesday that it considered Google’s contract terms for device manufacturers to be an improper abuse of its dominant market position in the mobile operating system market.
