Members of the European Parliament have published their proposed amendments to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD). A total of around 1000 demands on almost 700 pages have come together from the Economic and Environmental Committee on the two sustainability laws. The direction in which the negotiations will move in the coming weeks is difficult to predict in advance given the differing views.
