TTC should not become a brake for EU regulation

Less than a month after the inaugural meeting of the EU-US Trade and Technology Council (TTC) in Pittsburgh, Competition Commissioner Margrethe Vestager and Trade Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis took questions from MEPs on Tuesday afternoon. The chairs of the Internal Market (IMCO), Industry (ITRE) and Artificial Intelligence (AIDA) committees also took part in the debate in the European Parliament’s Trade Committee (INTA).
