Vestager hopes for agreement on DMA and DSA in early spring

EU Competition Commissioner Margrethe Vestager hopes to reach an agreement on the Digital Markets Act (DMA) and Digital Services Act (DSA) next spring so that both laws can come into force on January 01, 2023. The Commission Vice-President said this yesterday in the EU Parliament’s Special Committee on Foreign Influence. Ongoing legislative initiatives in the digital sector were up for discussion at the hearing.
