Von der Leyen in favor of including nuclear power in taxonomy

Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has spoken out in favor of including nuclear power in the taxonomy. In a press conference after the conclusion of the EU summit on Friday, von der Leyen reiterated her call for more renewables given the record energy prices. At the same time, she said we need „a stable source, nuclear, and during the transition, gas.“ The Commission would make a corresponding proposal for the taxonomy.
