One week after the start of a new food distribution system in the Gaza Strip, dozens of Palestinians were killed at a Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) distribution point in Rafah on Sunday. The Israeli army said it was investigating the incident. Critics of the GHF, which is supported by the USA and Israel, accuse the Geneva-registered aid organization of militarizing support for the Palestinian population with food and medicine. According to the United Nations, Israel has only allowed 900 trucks into Gaza since the resumption of aid deliveries two weeks ago. Before Israel broke the ceasefire with the Palestinian Islamist organization Hamas at the beginning of the year, this figure was up to 800 a day.
