Battery pass – the direction is right, but the pace is not

A European battery passport could make cell production more transparent and thus ensure greater sustainability. But for batteries for EVs and e-scooters to become environmentally friendly and socially acceptable, the raw materials would also have to come from Europe, writes Roberto García Martínez.
