Open source is here to stay. Most people who deal with software projects on a daily basis are aware of this: Whether for apps, operating platforms on the internet or machine control – established open standards are better than reinventing the wheel. The multiple-eyes principle and the increasing maturity of software make security vulnerabilities less likely.
