The German government intends to produce far-reaching weapons systems together with Ukraine to attack Russia militarily on its own territory. Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated this during the recent visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Berlin. Merz also did not rule out the delivery of Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine. In the current dramatic political situation, rearmament cannot be the answer for Germany.
