The perception of a risk determines the actions that can be derived from it. For a society, and even more so for a European community, creating a common perception of risk and threat is a central task – our „test of time.“ The succession and coexistence of existential crises has rightly shifted the focus to social resilience. We can learn from the resilience of our European neighbors for our own debates.
