Documents: Current China Studies

The study „Industrial Resilience and Strategic Sovereignty of Germany“, commissioned by the Federation of German Industries (BDI), analyzes the supply relationships of German companies for raw materials, manufacturing and trade. Using the examples of electromobility, microelectronics, wind power and the defense industry, the authors reveal alarming dependencies on producers of raw materials and intermediate goods, including from China. They call for a uniform strategy and coordination at the national level to strengthen the resilience of the economy.
