Šefčovič paid his first visit to Washington last week. Brussels is currently trying to reassess its position between Washington under the Trump administration and Beijing.

EU Trade Commissioner Maroš Šefčovič plans to travel to China at the end of March. The EU Directorate-General for Trade confirmed the plans to Table.Briefings on Thursday. South China Morning Post first reported on the travel plans.
