The EU Commission should bring forward the review of the „safeguards“ against the sharp increase in steel imports and adapt them to the changed market situation. French Industry Minister Marc Ferracci made this demand on Thursday at a joint press conference with his colleagues from Italy, Adolfo Urso, and Jordi Hereu from Spain. Ferracci justified his call to start the review scheduled for 2026 earlier with the sharp rise in import volumes from China.
