Chuan He is one of this year’s recipients of the Falling Walls Science Breakthrough of the Year: For his exploration of RNA modifications and gene expression the Chinese-American chemical biologist is awarded today in the life sciences category. He is John T. Wilson Distinguished Service Professor in Chemistry at the University of Chicago, Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator, and the first director of the newly established Pritzker Plant Biology Center in Chicago.
