Fast fashion giant Shein, which is hoping to be listed on the London Stock Exchange, will have to face a hearing before a British parliamentary committee on January 7. The cross-party Business and Trade Committee will also question Temu as part of an inquiry into workers’ rights launched in October. Shein’s General Counsel for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Yinan Zhu, as well as Stephen Heary, Senior Legal Counsel at Temu, and Leonard Klenner, Senior Compliance Manager at Temu, have been summoned.
