In his first interview as State Secretary for the Environment and Climate Action, Jochen Flasbarth urges that Germany must adhere to its own Climate Change Act. By the end of the year, his ministry wants to present measures to ensure that the 2040 targets are met – and to secure support from society and at the European level.
