The Polish Council Presidency wants to conclude the trilogue on the extension of the gas storage regulation by the end of June, according to reports on Wednesday. On Friday, the deputy EU ambassadors want to confirm the compromise reached by the energy negotiators on Tuesday. Parliament’s Industry Committee also discussed the issue on Wednesday, and its position should be finalized by May. If an agreement is reached quickly, the weakening of the storage target could perhaps apply as early as this fall.
