The EU Commission intends to present legislative proposals for the phase-out of Russian energy imports in June. Gas companies are to disclose the duration and delivery volumes of contracts with Russian suppliers, the EU states are to draw up national phase-out plans for gas and oil imports by the end of the year, and the Commission is likely to impose tariffs on enriched uranium from Russia. This is the long-awaited roadmap presented by Energy Commissioner Dan Jørgensen in Strasbourg on Tuesday.
