Mercedes boss Ola Källenius is the new President of the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association, ACEA.

The new ACEA President Ola Källenius is calling on Commission President von der Leyen to ensure that manufacturers do not have to pay any penalties for failing to meet the 2025 climate targets. In addition, the CO2 fleet limits for cars, light commercial vehicles and heavy commercial vehicles should be corrected by 2035.

As the new President of the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA), Mercedes boss Ola Källenius is calling for changes to the Green Deal. „The Green Deal must be subjected to a reality check and realigned,“ Källenius writes to Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Parliament President Roberta Metsola.
