Commissioner Urpilainen on leave for Finnish election campaign

The Commissioner for International Partnerships, Jutta Urpilainen, has been granted leave of absence at her request by Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. Urpilainen is a candidate in the presidential elections in Finland. She is on leave from December 2 to January 28, and until February 11 if she makes it to the run-off. During this time, she will not receive any remuneration from the EU budget.
