The European Parliament has confirmed the political compromise on the Euro 7 emissions standard. Euro 7 largely adopts the test conditions of Euro 6 for cars and vans, while the limit values for heavy commercial vehicles and buses will be significantly tightened.

For the first time, there are also limit values for brake and tire wear, meaning that battery electric vehicles will also be regulated by the standard.
