Google to become greener in Germany

Federal Minister Peter Altmaier praises the company: „I am very pleased that Google is relying on Germany!“, the CDU politician let it be known in Berlin. The reason for the minister’s delight is the company’s declaration of intent to invest a total of €1 billion in German digital infrastructure and renewable energies by 2030. Brandenburg Economics Minister Jörg Steinbach (SPD), Hesse Economics Minister Tarek Al-Wazir (Greens) and Berlin Economics Senator Ramona Pop (Greens) also welcomed the investment.
