This is the first Von der Leyen Commission. The hearings for the Commission of the second mandate are to take place within a week.

One week, from October 14 to 18, could be sufficient to hold all confirmation hearings for the candidates for Commissioner positions. This is provided for in a draft schedule. The heads of the political groups could decide on it on September 19.

The hearings of all candidates for the new Commission could take place within a week. This is according to a draft schedule for the hearings in Parliament’s committees, available to Table.Briefings. The group leaders could decide on it on September 19. Two hearings will be held in parallel.
