Ransomware: upcoming government needs to act

According to a publication by the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP), the constant increase in ransomware attacks is due to several shortcomings. For one, SWP researcher Matthias Schulze says there is a massive shortage of skilled workers. But that is not the only problem, as the author of an „SWP Aktuell“ on the subject writes. Schulze states that the conditions for the blackmailers are favorable.
