Várhelyi: MEPs continue discussions

Oliver Varhelyi — The Commissioner-designate for Health and Animal Welfare, Olivér Várhelyi, still has to wait for his confirmation by the coordinators of the political groups in the EU Parliament.

The decision on the Commissioner-designate for Health and Animal Welfare, Olivér Várhelyi, has been postponed until Wednesday. MEPs are still not satisfied with the answers to questions submitted later. Abortion and vaccination are controversial topics.

The coordinators of the Environment and Agriculture Committee have not reached an agreement on the Commissioner-designate for Health and Animal Welfare, Olivér Várhelyi (PE). MEPs now want to decide on Wednesday if possible.
