The EU Commission intends to present the roadmap for phasing out Russian fossil fuels on May 6. This was stated in an updated project plan on Monday. The REPowerEU roadmap was originally scheduled for March 26. The Commission wants to phase out gas, oil and coal from Russia by 2027. In Germany, on the other hand, there has been speculation for several months as to whether gas could once again be supplied to Europe via the Nord Stream pipelines following a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia.
